Martin and his team were looking to replace the old custom-built analytics in the Equali application.
"Our previous dashboard was inflexible, and the analytics that we did provide were rudimentary."
They initially wanted to start off with a new main dashboard and analytics page, followed by bringing the value of data into more locations across the application.
"So far, we've upgraded our dashboard analytics page - essentially a cockpit - for customers' reconciliations and payment data. We'll be adding further embeddables into various other pages to make them more customisable, as well as improving the look and feel of each of the pages!"
Equali explored various options for their customer-facing analytics but were not satisfied with any of the options available.
"We looked into tools like Flourish and Tableau, but they couldn't give us what we needed."
After speaking to the Embeddable team, they kicked off a proof of concept and were convinced that it was the right long-term solution for their application.
"It was a combination of everything. Every interaction with the Embeddable team gave us confidence in them and their solution, and playing around with it as a non-technical user just made sense. As a startup, the price point worked too."
The team initially benefitted from the ability to get to value quickly, and having the support of the Embeddable team when needed.
