The Palm team were looking to build a new embedded reporting tool for enterprise treasury teams. By doing so, their users would be able to quickly interrogate what happened across their banks and share reports with the wider Finance teams.
Their existing customer-facing analytics was built using charting libraries (re-charts and Material UI). However, they were looking for a solution to help them deliver 'self-serve' functionality to users (the ability for end users to create personalised dashboards), without taking on the burden of building and maintaining it in-house.
Palm discovered Embeddable via a Google search and after speaking to the team, identified that it was "the closest technology/solution to our problem." The Embeddable product and vision was stronger than both legacy BI tools with embedded analytics add-ons and new players.
