Project Overview

The RA (AKA Resident Advisor) team needed to build new data points into their existing dashboards, a custom-built experience with ChartJS (a React charting library), but were looking for a way to be able to deliver updates without having to dedicate engineering time to do so. RA wanted to deliver a custom experience, while enabling their engineering team to focus on new features and improvements for their customers.

Their brief was to create a dashboard that allowed their RA Pro customers to see stats on how well their ads are performing across different channels, and easily take inferences from a tabular analytics view.

How RA chose Embeddable

RA had explored multiple off-the-shelf tools to embed analytics into their platform, including Metabase & Mixpanel; in addition to using Cube to model the data and continuing with a custom-build approach.

After assessing multiple tools, RA decided to select Embeddable as their tool of choice for three main reasons:

1. They were able to achieve a fully-native feeling experience in their app
2. They had complete control over the charts and dashboards
3. The tool is very easy to build and embed dashboards with
