FAQs

A new Dashboard Session is created when the metadata for that dashboard is loaded from the Embeddable server, i.e. when an Embeddable is rendered via the web component, or the dashboard is refreshed. During a dashboard session the user may interact with the dashboard (which causes variables to update), causing additional load data requests -- this is still the same session. Likewise, the variables or client context on the embedded Embeddable may change, updating the rendered dashboard -- this is still the same session.
